Multifamily New Construction
Services
Flooring and interior finishes for new residential buildings, from 50-unit mid-rises to 800-unit towers, for New York developers and general contractors.
Expertise
Every apartment finished like the model
Hundreds of units have to be finished on schedule, and every one of them gets seen by a resident on move-in day.
Urban Flooring Systems has done this across New York City on luxury, market-rate, and affordable buildings, for developers who keep hiring us back.
We work inside the general contractor's schedule: the pace of vertical construction, the order of trades, and protecting finished floors while other trades keep working around them.
Key Capabilities
New Construction Flooring
Large-scale flooring installation for residential towers and mid-rise developments, delivered unit by unit on the construction schedule.
Interior Finishes
Beyond flooring, we handle paint, wall coverings, millwork, and other interior finish elements, so the general contractor coordinates with one sub instead of four.
Common Areas
Flooring for lobbies, hallways, corridors, and amenity spaces.
Amenity Space Flooring
Fitness centers, rooftop lounges, co-working spaces, and children's play areas, each with the right material for the use.
Luxury Vinyl and Hardwood Installation
LVT, engineered and solid hardwood, carpet tile, and ceramic, installed to the architect's specifications.
Partners
Repeat clients
Developers and general contractors across the tri-state area who have hired us more than once.
How We Work
Our Process
Built around the construction schedule.
Pre-Construction
We join early, review the plans and specs, flag value engineering options, confirm material lead times, and fit our schedule to the general contractor's.
Material Coordination
We manage material orders, delivery logistics, and on-site storage, timed with the general contractor so materials arrive when the building can take them.
Installation
Crews work floor by floor to daily production targets, and every unit is inspected against the architect's specifications.
Turnover
Final cleaning, touch-ups, and punch list resolution. We walk every unit with the general contractor to confirm readiness before certificate of occupancy inspections.
